Viña Misiones de Rengo obtains 6 Gold Medals
September, 2011.- Viña Misiones de Rengo is pleased to share some outstanding recognitions it has received during the last few months.
On a national level, the results of three relevant wine competitions, two of which are “satellites” of prestigious international concourses, have just been presented to the public. While, on a global level, the awards granted at the largest competitions in Canada and China have been released.
2010 Misiones de Rengo Reserve Sauvignon Blanc obtained a Gold Medal in the 2011 Sélections Mondiales des Vins, in the important Canadian market, and also, another Gold Medal in the 2011 Vinalies Latin America Competition. The same Sauvignon Blanc, but in its 2011 vintage, in turn, reached a Great Gold Medal in the 2011 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles-Chile.
At this same competition, five versions of which have already taken place in our country, the 2010 Gran Reserva Cuvée Carménère won a Gold Medal. Meanwhile, the 2009 vintage of this wine obtained a Gold Medal in the 2011 Catad’Or W (Chile) and a Double Gold Medal in the 2011 China Wine Awards, within the significant Chinese market.
All of these awards and recognitions, together with Chilean consumers’ preference, position us as the number one selling brand and endorse Misiones de Rengo as a quality wine.
